Queen’s Birthday Honours List

The Defence Bank Foundation operates and funds the Defence Community Dogs program.

We are exceptionally proud to announce that two of the Trustees of the Defence Bank Foundation have received mentions in the Queen’s Birthday honours list.

Rear Admiral Ian Gordon MURRAY RAN was appointed a Member (AM) in the Military Division of the Order of Australia for exceptional service to the Australian Defence Force for exceptional service to the Australian Defence Force in strategic logistics and operations support.

Air Commodore Kirrily Ann DEARING was appointed a Member (AM) in the Military Division of the Order of Australia for exceptional service to the Australian Defence Force for exceptional service to the Australian Defence Force in strategic engagement, integration of women in Afghan society, and military responses to international and domestic operations.

We congratulate you both on receiving recognition of your dedication and commitment to the ADF.
